So I have to get this off me brains.
Back 3 years ago when I first started making my masks in resin fiberglass, a friend of mine introduced me to a dude that will open up a gallery in Shanghai peddling god knows what. So I went and showed him my masks and he asked what material is it made of. I told him resin fiberglass, and he kinda laughed and said "plastic is not ART."
He also said maybe metal will be better but thinking to myself metal is heavy and I've had complaints of my masks being heavy as a wearable plastic fiberglass mask already. But he doesn't know the market of wearable art as I do and this is a good thing. So I didn't bother to prove to him with what I know.
Looking back after selling over 100 resin fiberglass masks (at least) I guess people pay a lot of money for non art plastic like my masks.
So who's the idiot here? I just wish he knew how well I am doing now.
I am also developing more advanced masks for airsoft and paintball. Those will be made from very expensive plastic material.
