Wolverine 1st latex Cast

Description

Wolverine Latex 1st Cast.

Came out better than I thought. The right thickness, flexible and stretchy cuz I am using the Pure Latex mixed with a Vinyl type liquid. The mask looks distorted cuz its not sitting on the model's head which will make it look right. Its mounted on bubble wrap right now just for me to paint it.

I used dremel and soldering iron to trim the seams which is technically my first time doing anything so involved with latex.
So its all good experience. In the future I can do better molds and make better latex masks. This was a 10 on the Challenge Scale.

Note:
The Halloween mask Latex used in the USA are mixed with a pottery powder as a thickener which makes it less stretchy and prone to cracking and Rotting down the road. With my superior mixture this won't happen as I have done tests of this mixture years ago and still didn't have any problems.

Q: Wow you is fast makin dis, You a speed demon?

No I am not a Speed Demon
This one I've done slush casting by filling the entire mold with latex, sit for 5 minutes then pour out and let it drip until it stops dripping. Then put a Heater fan with a smaller fan behind it to boost the air power. Let dry and repeat 5 times. Took me 3 full days to build up layers. Thinner latex mixtures is better for this which is what I will do next plus adding Fiberglass to reinforce the ears and face.
