Finally finished casting several of these Bios.

This is a "Bare-Bones" version paint job. After this stage I usually go on to embellishing it with more colors. I have so many ideas for the paint job its not funny.

More will come so stay tuned!

All professionally made with resin backed fiberglass. I got a silicon mold of this thing so the casts come out light and strong. Most people buy it for Predator cosplay and Collectors pieces

Where do you buy resin from? I've seen SO many awesome things made with it but I have no idea which to buy or even how much it costs.
I mainly work in clay or latex if I get the chance but I've always wanted to try resin.

Resin is available from Home Depot and similar kinds of large hardware shops. Bondo is one of the many manufacturers. Ask around and you'll find it. Comes with resin plus hardener.

Thanks! I'll see if I can get my hands on that!

And do you use plaster molds or some sort of latex?

I use silicone rubber molds with a Plaster Jacket mold to hold it together. Molds are huge and costly to make but the results are more than worth it.

Thank you :) Perhaps one day when I have a nice garage or shed to work in I'll give that a shot! Thank you for all the info!
